EventOn Wishlist Addon v1.2.1

EventOn Wishlist Addon is a focused extension for the EventON calendar that adds a favorites system to events. It places a heart or bookmark button on event tiles and inside the event lightbox so logged in visitors can save items for later. Instead of relying on browser bookmarks, screenshots, or memory, webmasters get a built in shortlist that keeps visitors engaged and brings them back.

If you run a city guide, music venue listing, fitness studio with workshops, training center, or conference schedule, this addon helps visitors plan without scrolling the full calendar again. It hooks into EventON custom post types, categories, tags, and organizers, and works across month, week, and tile views. Site owners use the shortcode based My Wishlist page daily to show saved titles, images, dates, and locations, while encouraging account creation for future membership or email follow up.

EventOn Wishlist Addon Key Features

• One Click Save Button: Adds a heart or bookmark icon to event cards for instant saving without opening another page.
• Lightbox Integration: Places the same save control inside the EventON lightbox for consistent access to details.
• AJAX Saving: Saves and removes favorites in the background with no page reload on calendar views.
• Dedicated Wishlist Page: Provides a shortcode to display each user saved events with title, image, date, and location.
• Login Based Storage: Ties saved items to WordPress user accounts so lists stay saved across devices and cache clears.
• Calendar View Support: Works in month, week, and tile layouts without changing EventON display logic.
• Custom Post Type Link: Uses native EventON event posts so categories, tags, and organizers keep working as normal.
• Date Sorting: Lets users review saved events in date order to plan their week more easily.
• Theme Style Inheritance: Uses minimal CSS that picks up fonts, colors, and spacing from your theme and calendar settings.
• Lightweight Focused Code: Handles only saving and display with no booking logic or heavy scripts to slow the calendar.

Download Latest GPL Version of EventOn Wishlist Addon

Use the GPL copy to test the full save flow in a staging site before touching a live calendar. Create test user accounts, click the heart in tile and lightbox views, check AJAX saving without reloads, and confirm the wishlist page pulls correct titles, images, dates, and locations across desktop and mobile. Staging in LocalWP or XAMPP avoids broken layouts or login issues for real visitors. For live bookings and support, an official license is the right choice.
