GamiPress Social Share v1.2.8

GamiPress Social Share is a focused add-on for the GamiPress gamification system that rewards users for sharing your content on social networks. It solves the problem of getting readers to distribute posts without manual tracking or plain share buttons that offer no incentive. Instead of messy workarounds, shares are logged automatically and tied directly to your existing points, achievements, and ranks.

You can use it to build sharing loops for blogs, membership communities, online courses, and learning platforms where engagement drives growth. For example, create a Social Ambassador achievement that requires sharing five posts on Twitter, or award points for LinkedIn shares on B2B articles and Facebook shares on community updates. Because it hooks into GamiPress points types, achievements, and ranks, progress appears in standard logs and profiles with no extra reporting panel to manage.

GamiPress Social Share Key Features

• Share Based Rewards: Award points, achievement steps, and rank progress automatically when logged in users share content.
• Twitter Sharing Trigger: Create requirements such as share a set number of posts on Twitter to complete an achievement.
• Facebook Sharing Trigger: Track Facebook shares separately so you can reward community focused promotion.
• LinkedIn Sharing Trigger: Encourage professional sharing by linking LinkedIn activity to points or ranks for B2B content.
• Flexible Earning Limits: Control rewards by post, by day, or with custom caps to prevent users from farming points.
• Native GamiPress Integration: Works directly with existing points types, achievements, and ranks without custom code.
• Standard Logs And Profiles: Share earnings appear in normal GamiPress logs and user profiles for clear tracking.
• Automatic Button Placement: Show share buttons automatically on selected post types to keep incentives where they belong.
• Manual Placement Control: Add buttons with shortcode or block placement for custom templates and specific layouts.

Testing this add-on in a staging copy helps you confirm share triggers fire correctly for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn before affecting members. You can check points awards, achievement counts, earning limits, and button placement on different post types without risking live point balances or rank errors. Sandbox testing avoids downtime and user complaints, while an official license is the right choice for live production and direct support.
