Envira Gallery Videos Addon v1.7.7

Envira Gallery Videos Addon is the official extension that adds video support to Envira Gallery, which normally handles images only. It solves the problem of split galleries where photos use one lightbox and videos need separate embeds. Instead of juggling iframe code, popup plugins, and mismatched players, you manage YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and self hosted files inside one gallery workflow with consistent thumbnails, overlay icons, and playback.

You can build mixed image and video galleries for wedding portfolios, videographer showreels, agency case studies, product demonstrations, and blog tutorials without rebuilding your layout. A photographer can place highlight reels next to stills, while a WooCommerce store owner can add product videos beside product photos in the same responsive grid. Day to day, you paste a video URL or upload MP4 and WebM files, set a custom thumbnail, and control autoplay and lightbox behavior from the familiar Envira interface.

Envira Gallery Videos Addon Key Features

• YouTube Support: Paste a YouTube link as a gallery item with automatic playback controls in the lightbox.
• Vimeo Support: Add Vimeo URLs directly without copying iframe code or adjusting embed settings.
• Wistia Support: Include Wistia videos in the same gallery grid used for photos and other clips.
• Self Hosted MP4 and WebM: Upload video files to the media library to avoid third party branding and keep visitors on site.
• Unified Image and Video Lightbox: Let visitors browse photos and videos with the same arrows, layout, and closing behavior.
• Automatic Video Pause: Stops playback when the lightbox is closed to prevent background audio issues.
• Custom Video Thumbnails: Upload your own cover image to keep product and portfolio grids visually consistent.
• Platform Thumbnail Import: Pull the default thumbnail from the video platform when a custom cover is not needed.
• Autoplay and Loop Controls: Choose whether videos start on open or wait for a click, plus simple loop options.
• Responsive Video Playback: Scales the gallery grid and lightbox player cleanly on phones and tablets.

Download Latest GPL Version of Envira Gallery Videos Addon

Use the GPL files to test mixed image and video galleries on a staging or local install before going live. Check YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and self hosted MP4 playback, thumbnail display, lightbox navigation, autoplay settings, and mobile scaling. Sandbox testing prevents broken layouts or autoplay issues from causing downtime on client sites. For production use with automatic updates and official support, purchasing an official license is the best choice.
