Envira Gallery Search v1.0.4

Envira Gallery Search is an addon for Envira Gallery that adds a live search field to image galleries. It solves the problem of visitors scrolling through hundreds of images to find one photo by letting them type a keyword to filter results instantly. It is used instead of splitting galleries into many pages or adding external search plugins, because it works directly inside the gallery container using data you already have.

You can build searchable portfolios, product catalogs, real estate listing galleries, and stock image collections where finding a specific photo matters. It works with the core Envira Gallery plugin and supports grid, masonry, justified, and lightbox layouts, plus the Gutenberg block and classic shortcode for use with Elementor and other builders. Day to day, you can tag images by venue or style and let clients filter a 300 image wedding gallery by beach or winter in seconds.

Envira Gallery Search Key Features

• Live AJAX Filtering: Filters gallery images as visitors type without a submit button or page reload.
• Metadata Based Search: Searches titles, captions, descriptions, and alt text already set in the Media Library.
• Layout Compatibility: Works with grid, masonry, justified, and lightbox layouts without changing design.
• Lightbox Continuity: Filtered images still open in the same lightbox with navigation kept intact.
• Gutenberg Block Support: Add search enabled galleries directly through the Envira Gutenberg block.
• Shortcode Support: Use classic shortcodes to place galleries in Elementor and other page builders.
• Multiple Galleries Per Page: Each search field only filters its own gallery when several are on one page.
• Partial Match Logic: Ignores case and matches partial words, so wed finds wedding and WEDDING.
• Conditional Script Loading: Loads scripts only on pages where search is enabled to limit performance impact.
• Core Addon Structure: Extends the Envira Gallery plugin and requires the core plugin to function.

Download Latest GPL Version of Envira Gallery Search

Use the GPL files to test Envira Gallery Search in a staging copy or on LocalWP before touching a client site. Upload a gallery with real titles, alt text, and tags, then check AJAX filtering, partial matches, and lightbox navigation with multiple galleries on one page. Sandbox testing prevents broken layouts on live portfolios. For production client work with updates and support, purchasing an official license is the correct choice.
