Envira Gallery s Addon v1.6.0

Envira Gallery Downloads Addon extends the Envira Gallery plugin with direct image downloading inside galleries and lightboxes. By default, Envira focuses on display only, which forces visitors to right click or open files in new tabs to save them. This addon fixes that gap by adding a clear download control for single images, sized files, or full gallery archives with permission settings.

You can use it to build private proofing galleries for wedding and portrait photographers, portfolio delivery pages for designers, and event recap galleries where attendees save selected photos. It works directly with Envira Gallery core and its lightbox and themes, so the button matches your existing styling on desktop and mobile. Day to day, it helps you share previews while protecting high resolution masters, control bulk zip downloads per gallery, and limit access for paid or internal reviews.

Envira Gallery Downloads Addon Key Features

• Lightbox Download Button: Adds a clear download icon inside the lightbox so visitors can save images without right clicking.
• Single Image Downloads: Lets users download individual photos directly from gallery images or the open lightbox view.
• Full Gallery Zip Download: Allows visitors to download all images in a gallery at once as a single zip archive.
• Per Gallery Controls: Enable or disable downloads and bulk zip output separately for each gallery you publish.
• File Size Selection: Choose whether visitors receive the original full resolution file or a smaller web optimized size.
• Access Restrictions: Show the download button only to logged in users or hide it where public saving is not wanted.
• Lightbox And Theme Integration: Fits neatly into the Envira lightbox toolbar and inherits gallery styling without custom CSS.
• Mobile Friendly Behavior: Download controls work on phones and tablets where many clients review proofing galleries.
• Client Proofing Workflow: Ideal for approval, selection, and personal use delivery without separate file sharing links.
• Lightweight Extension: Hooks into existing Envira output without heavy scripts or extra database tables.

Download Latest GPL Version of Envira Gallery Downloads Addon

Downloaded under GPL, this addon is useful for sandbox testing of lightbox download icons, zip archive creation, and original versus resized file output before touching a live proofing gallery. You can check button placement, logged in access rules, and mobile behavior on LocalWP or a staging subdomain. This avoids broken archives or client downtime. For live client delivery and automatic updates, purchasing an official Envira license is the safest option.
