Easy Digital s ConvertKit Addon v1.1.2

Easy Digital Downloads ConvertKit Addon connects your EDD store directly to your ConvertKit email account. By default, EDD handles payments and delivery but does not send buyer data to your email platform. This addon closes that gap by pushing customer name and email automatically after purchase. Store owners use it instead of manual CSV exports or third party zap tools that break, delay, or mislabel subscribers.

You can use it to run segmented email marketing for any digital store powered by Easy Digital Downloads and ConvertKit. Sellers of WordPress themes, plugins, online courses, music files, templates, and coaching downloads can map each product to its own form or tag. A photography preset buyer can enter one welcome sequence while an eBook bundle buyer enters another, which supports launches, repeat sales, and automated follow ups without daily list management.

Easy Digital Downloads ConvertKit Addon Key Features

• Automatic Subscriber Creation: Pushes buyer name and email to ConvertKit immediately after a completed EDD purchase.
• Per Product Form Mapping: Assign a specific ConvertKit form to each download to trigger separate welcome sequences.
• Per Product Tag Mapping: Apply different tags based on what was bought, so starter guides and premium courses stay segmented.
• Checkout Opt In Checkbox: Add an optional consent box at checkout to let buyers choose email updates.
• Customizable Checkbox Label: Edit the opt in text and control whether the box is checked by default.
• Custom Field Passing: Send product name, purchase amount, and other details into ConvertKit custom fields for personalization.
• Simple API Connection: Connect with API key and API secret from EDD settings with no webhooks to configure.
• EDD Workflow Compatibility: Works with guest checkout, discount codes, and variable pricing without changing the buyer flow.
• Lightweight Background Sync: Runs quietly after checkout without adding extra steps or slowing the payment page.

Download Latest GPL Version of Easy Digital Downloads ConvertKit Addon

Use the GPL files to test checkout triggers, form mapping, and tag logic in a staging site before touching live sales. Run test purchases with guest checkout, discount codes, and variable pricing to confirm the correct automation starts and opt in behavior works as expected. Staging tests prevent lost subscribers and misfired emails, while an official license is the right choice for live client stores needing updates and support.
