BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro v1.2.6

BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro automatically creates friendships for new members the moment they finish registration on a BuddyPress site. By default, new users start with zero friends and an empty activity feed, which feels cold and discourages interaction. Instead of asking them to send manual requests or forcing admins to approve dozens of pending invites, this plugin builds those initial connections in the background using the native friends system.

You can use it to build welcoming community sites, membership portals, company intranets, and social learning platforms where every newcomer instantly connects with a community manager, instructor, support account, or moderator. It works with BuddyPress and BuddyBoss alongside WooCommerce checkout, social login plugins, and front end registration forms. Day to day, it helps welcome bots greet members, instructors stay visible to students, and support staff remain one click away without manual friend management.

BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro Key Features

• Automatic Friendship on Registration: Triggers the friendship routine as soon as the BuddyPress profile is created, with no cron job or delay.
• Choose Specific Auto Friend Accounts: Define one or multiple user IDs, such as admin, support, or moderator accounts, to connect with every new member.
• Instant Accepted Status: Bypasses the request and approval flow so connections appear as established friendships right away.
• Role and User Exclusions: Exclude staff, vendors, test accounts, or selected roles from the automatic friendship logic.
• Native BuddyPress Integration: Uses core BuddyPress friends functions and tables so notifications and activity entries behave like normal friendships.
• Custom Registration Compatibility: Hooks into native registration actions to support WooCommerce checkout, social login, and front end forms.
• Community Manager Setup: Ideal for linking newcomers to a welcome bot, instructor, or support profile for instant guidance.
• Tightly Knit Network Option: Supports connecting new users broadly when you want a dense, highly interactive initial social graph.
• Lightweight Background Operation: Runs only during the registration event with no extra tables, no added front end scripts, and no page load overhead.

Download Latest GPL Version of BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro

Use the GPL package to test the auto friend setup on a staging or local site before touching your live community. Check how selected user IDs connect on registration, verify role exclusions, and confirm friendships created through WooCommerce checkout or social login appear correctly with notifications and activity entries. Sandbox testing prevents broken social graphs and confused members, while an official license is the right choice for production support and updates.
