BookingPress Pro Tip Addon v2.9

BookingPress Pro Tip Addon is a small extension for BookingPress that adds a tipping option to the appointment checkout. By default BookingPress handles services, staff, time slots and payments, but it does not collect gratuities. This addon fixes that gap for salons, spas, barbershops and other service businesses. Instead of using custom fields or asking for cash in person, you can collect and track tips directly inside the booking total.

You can use it to run a complete tip enabled booking site for salons, spas, massage clinics, tattoo studios, fitness trainers and private consultants. Clients enter a custom amount or pick a preset value during the booking form or payment step, and it appears as a clear line item in the summary and confirmation. It works with PayPal, Stripe and on site payment methods supported by BookingPress, which helps with daily reconciliation and staff payouts without manual calculations.

BookingPress Pro Tip Addon Key Features

• Flexible Tip Input: Let clients type a custom tip amount or choose from preset values at checkout.
• Fixed Amount Support: Accept flat tips like 5 or 10 for quick and simple service bookings.
• Percentage Based Tips: Calculate tips as a percent of service price for varied price lists.
• Optional Display Control: Keep tipping optional or suggested so it feels friendly, not forced.
• Booking Summary Line Item: Show the tip as a separate line so totals stay clear and transparent.
• Payment Gateway Compatibility: Process tips through PayPal, Stripe and on site methods supported by BookingPress.
• Admin Booking Visibility: View tip amounts per booking for easy staff payout reconciliation.
• Custom Labels and Messaging: Change the field text to match your brand, like gratuity for your stylist.
• Lightweight Single Purpose Design: Adds tipping without bloating the booking form or slowing checkout.

Download Latest GPL Version of BookingPress Pro Tip Addon

You can use the GPL version to test how tips affect checkout totals, order details and staff reporting in a safe staging site. Try custom amounts, preset values, percentage calculations and Stripe or PayPal sandbox payments before going live. Sandbox testing prevents broken totals or confusion on a live client site. For live salons handling real money and staff payouts, an official license is the right choice for updates and support.
