The binding membership rules, fair usage guidelines, and acceptable use policies governing your Shine GPL account and downloads.
1. Acceptance of Terms and Open Source Agreement
By creating an account, placing an order, accessing the member dashboard, or downloading any file from Shine GPL, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Shine GPL. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not register, purchase, or use the service.
Shine GPL operates as an independent distributor of software licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any third party theme or plugin author. Our service provides access to GPL licensed code through cloud mirrors, along with file maintenance, version tracking, and member resources.
- Binding action: Registration, checkout, renewal, or any download constitutes full acceptance of these terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or have legal parental consent, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.
- Accurate information: You agree to provide a valid name, email address, and billing details, and to keep your account information current.
- GPL acknowledgment: You understand that the underlying software is licensed under the GNU GPL, which grants specific freedoms to use, study, modify, and redistribute the code under the terms of that license.
These terms govern your use of the Shine GPL website and membership service. They do not restrict or replace the rights granted to you by the GNU GPL for the software itself.
2. Account Security and Fair Use Policy
All Shine GPL memberships are issued for strictly individual use. One membership equals one person. Account sharing, credential resale, and public distribution of login details are prohibited and result in enforcement action without prior warning in serious cases.
- Individual use only: Your username and password are for your personal access. Sharing access with friends, teams, clients, forums, or social groups is not permitted.
- No credential resale: Selling, renting, trading, or giving away your account, downloads, or access links is strictly forbidden.
- No public sharing: Posting your login details, account cookies, download URLs, or member files on public sites, Discord servers, Telegram groups, or file sharing platforms is a direct violation.
- No automated access: Use of scraping spiders, download bots, mass downloaders, headless browsers, rotating proxies for harvesting, or API abuse to bypass normal browsing is prohibited.
- You are responsible: You are responsible for all activity under your account. Use a strong unique password and log out on shared devices.
Accounts detected using automated scraping tools, concurrent download threads, or bot patterns will be suspended immediately, with download logs and IP records retained for review. No refund is issued for terminations related to abuse.
3. Digital Software Delivery and GPL Rights
Shine GPL provides digital software delivery through secure cloud mirrors. No physical media is shipped. After payment confirmation, your downloads are available in your member dashboard for the duration of your active membership.
- Cloud mirror delivery: Files are served from high speed mirrors. Delivery is instant in most cases, but may be delayed by payment verification or scheduled maintenance.
- Untouched files: We distribute files without modification to core code. We do not inject backdoors, license callbacks, or hidden code. Checksums are preserved where provided by the source package.
- Unlimited use under GPL: Under the GNU GPL, you may use the software on unlimited personal domains, client sites, and test or staging environments, for live or development purposes.
- Version updates: Active members receive access to updated versions as we obtain and process them. Update timing depends on source release cycles and our internal review queue.
Consistent with the GNU GPL, you have the freedom to run the program for any purpose, study how it works, adapt it to your needs, and redistribute copies. Shine GPL supports these freedoms by providing clean, installable copies with no domain activation requirement from us.
4. Technical Support Limitations
Shine GPL is designed for self sufficient developers, freelancers, and agencies who are comfortable installing, configuring, and troubleshooting WordPress products. Our support covers access and installation guidance, not private author services.
- No private author helpdesk: We do not provide the original developer ticket system, live chat with the author, or priority bug fixes from the author.
- No proprietary license keys: We do not supply or activate premium license keys, purchase codes, or automatic in dashboard updates tied to the author system. Updates are installed by manual upload through your Shine GPL dashboard.
- What we do help with: Download access, corrupted archives, installation steps, version clarification, and general WordPress usage guidance within reasonable limits.
- Self help resources: Members are expected to use included documentation, public changelogs, WordPress forums, and general developer documentation for custom code needs.
If you require custom development, theme customization, or guaranteed same day fixes from the original creator, you should purchase a direct license from that creator in addition to your Shine GPL membership.
5. Service Modification and Termination
Shine GPL may modify, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time to protect performance, security, and fair access for all members. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
- Account closure for abuse: Sharing credentials, reselling downloads, uploading our mirrors to public sites, or harassing staff will lead to suspension or permanent closure.
- Scraper bots: Any confirmed use of scraping spiders, download automation, or quota evasion is grounds for instant and permanent termination.
- Chargeback fraud: Filing a false dispute or chargeback after receiving access, downloading files, or using membership benefits will result in immediate termination and a ban on future purchases.
- Service changes: We may adjust pricing, membership plans, download quotas, file catalog availability, or site features with notice posted on the site.
- Effect of termination: Upon closure, your access to the dashboard and future updates ends immediately. Files already downloaded under the GPL remain subject to the GPL license, but membership benefits and support end.
Refunds are handled under our separate Refund Policy. Accounts closed for abuse, bot use, credential resale, or chargeback fraud are not eligible for a refund or credit.
6. Terms and Fair Use FAQ
No. Each membership subscription is strictly for one individual user. If you work with team members or agencies needing direct download access, they require their own membership. You may install downloaded GPL software on client websites, but sharing your account credentials or reselling access is prohibited.

Memberships remain active for the duration of the chosen subscription timeline. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings to prevent future renewals. Software already downloaded remains fully functional under GPL rights.
